He's looking for new music, .... and everything sucks compared to the beatles so thats not fair, and the Stones started to get worse and worse after Brian Jones left.

Easily the greatest band ever. I advise you to watch the whole thing. The song is a cover of Europe's "The Final Countdown". ENJOY.

And here's a little flamenco to cleanse your head afterwards. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bm6fP...ean%20sundance

Whee~~ I'm contributing to this forum for once!

Stone Cold Crazy - So much better than the version that that overrated band did. What's their name? Hm. Oh right, METALLICA.

Under Pressure - Eh. I didn't really like that song much >_>

What's Left of the Flag - Never really liked Flogging Molly.

Don't Fear the Reaper - Now that's a classic rock song. How can you not like that song? HOW.

Ballroom Blitz - I only like it because it's on Wayne's World. It's decent I suppose.

How about the videos I shared? Wahhhhh

O.o?

I hate Blink 182. If you are going to be punk, please be punk. Don't be pop/punk/soft rock. Blink 182 sucks. Angels and Airwaves sounds exactly like Blink 182. It's kind of like what happened to Ozzy. He sounded exactly the same when he was in BS, as when he was a solo artist. Show some depth, work with you band!

I want good lyrics, amazing songwriting, mind-melting guitar/drumming/bass playing/keyboarding, and not to mention depth in the albums and songs.

Darnit! Ive just described Dream Theater again, I think they are the perfect band. Other than Rush. Rush can do no wrong.

What about Coheed and Cambria? They have been compared to Rush on numerous occasions on the whole prog-rock thing and, I'm guessing, because the singer sounds remarkably similar to Geddy Lee.

But for sheer musicianship, you gotta go with Tool.

For me, I like music that has a lot of layering to it, meaning that you can hear a lot of different things going on with each listen. Nine Inch Nails and Radiohead are two bands which spring to mind. Shit man, I can throw on Pretty Hate Machine right now and hear something new, even though I've been listening to that album for, what, 14 years now.

Similarly, I was just thinking about Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon and how good it sounds 33 years after it was originally released. I often put on this cd on a snowy/rainy day and lay on the couch and just get lost in it.
